We are requesting
Honorable Modi Ji to visit to Los Angeles during his USA tour. The Greater Los
Angeles area is home to over a million People of Indian origin. Overseas Friends
of BJP (OFBJP) Los Angeles team has been striving:
1. To work towards projecting a positive and correct image of India and its people in the U.S. Correct any distortions in the media's reporting of current events taking place in India.
2. To foster a cordial relationship between Asian Indian and North American People, by establishing direct communication channels with local ethnic and national media.
3. To create a think tank of mature, experienced and intelligent individuals of Indian origin in order to utilize their expertise and wisdom to generate ideas which could be beneficial for the Indian community in North America and the people of India.
Modi Ji’s tremendous victory in recent parliamentary elections in the largest democracy in the world was extremely helpful in clearing some of the misconceptions. However, his personal visit to Los Angeles will help us take our efforts to a next level. We would be most honored if Modi Ji can accept our invitation to visit Los Angeles.
